The 2026 model year Scout Campers have officially launched, bringing significant upgrades in materials, weight, and thermal performance. As of September 1, 2025, all new Scout orders are now model year 2026 (MY26) units, and Juniper Overland is fully stocked and ready to guide customers through the latest changes.

Key Updates for the 2026 Scout Camper Lineup

Scout’s 2026 product launch is centered around material improvements that directly affect camper performance, weight, and year-round livability. The changes go beyond cosmetic updates, delivering tangible benefits for customers who camp in all climates and conditions.

Enhanced Composite Panels

All 2026 Scout Campers now include new composite panels that are both stronger and more thermally efficient. According to Scout, these panels offer up to a 15 percent improvement in thermal performance, which translates into better insulation in cold weather and reduced heat gain in summer.

Weight Reductions on Select Models

Several models have undergone strategic weight reductions of up to 9 percent, making them easier to haul and improving fuel efficiency. This continues Scout’s commitment to lightweight, towable designs that don’t compromise structural integrity.

UPT V2 Power System

The updated Universal Power Tray (UPT V2) introduces better layout efficiency and expanded modularity. This upgrade simplifies off-grid energy management for customers adding solar, inverters, or auxiliary power banks.

Additional MY26 Upgrades

Richlite countertops in pop-up models, offering durability and water resistance.
Upgraded mattresses for increased comfort out of the box.
New “S1 Basecamp” package for the Tuktut model, designed to support minimal and efficient layouts for solo or weekend travelers. This means an all-inclusive option that equips the camper with Scout’s Unbound Power Tower and systems cabinet, a Maxxfan vent fan, and a compact galley cabinet with a stainless sink - taking it from a simple shell into a ready-to-go basecamp.
