Juniper Overland Becomes Colorado’s Newest Alaskan Campers Dealer

Juniper Overland is proud to announce that we are now an authorized dealer for Alaskan Campers, the original hard-sided pop-up truck camper that has set the standard for durability and four-season capability since 1957. This partnership brings one of the most respected names in the truck-camping world to Colorado, offering local customers access to a proven design that combines classic craftsmanship with modern refinements.

For decades, Alaskan Campers has been known for a simple idea executed with uncommon discipline: a low-profile hard-sided camper that drives steady on the road and opens into a solid, insulated cabin at camp. Their signature folding-wall system remains the only true hard-sided pop-up on the market, trusted everywhere from Alaska winters to long miles in Baja. Each camper is still hand-built in the United States, one at a time, by a team of craftspeople who continue to refine the design through modern tools like CAD modeling, CNC machining, and improved production methods.

Partnering with Alaskan allows Juniper Overland to expand our lineup with a heritage model that fits a wide range of Colorado travel styles. With a low center of gravity, hard-sided construction, spray-foam insulation, and genuine four-season performance, Alaskan offers a different kind of capability than fabric-sided toppers or larger RV-style slide-ins. Customers can choose between Slide In and Flatbed configurations across multiple lengths, with flexible interior layouts and finish packages tailored to extended trips, off-grid living, or all-weather backcountry travel.

Alaskan’s recent modernization also aligns closely with the needs of Colorado travelers. Updated electrical systems support lithium batteries, DC-to-DC charging, and solar options. New materials and streamlined cabinetry lighten the overall build while improving strength and functionality. Optional features such as Nomadic Cooling 12-volt air conditioning, water heaters, modern refrigeration, and REDARC management systems give customers a blend of tradition and modern capability in a single platform.

“Alaskan has a legacy that stands on its own,” said Dylan Deeds, Marketing Manager at Juniper Overland. “These campers have been proven for nearly seventy years, and the team behind them continues to push the design forward without losing what makes an Alaskan an Alaskan. That balance of heritage and innovation fits perfectly with what our customers are looking for in Colorado.”

As part of this launch, Juniper Overland will be offering full consultations, custom order support, electrical upgrades, vehicle outfitting, and installation services for both Slide In and Flatbed Alaskan models. A new demo camper will be on display in our showroom and at regional events beginning January 2026, including the International Sportsmen’s Expo in Denver.

With Colorado’s mix of mountain passes, four-season weather, and remote public land, Alaskan Campers bring a proven, capable option for travelers who want solid walls, dependable construction, and confident handling on long drives or rugged trail approaches.
