Frequently Asked Questions
We focus on thoughtfully designed ground-up vehicle builds. We offer several vehicle-based living shelters such as truck campers, toppers, and tents. We also complete a range of 4x4 vehicle outfitting including suspension upgrades, wheels & tires, bumpers and armor, 12-volt wiring and power management, and offer many other products to help your rig perform better both on and off road. Lastly, we sell a variety of campsite related gear such as stoves, tables, and other favorites we've added to our kit over the years. Whatever your preferred way to travel off the pavement we are here to outfit your vehicle for adventure. Check out our Services Page for more info.

Heck Yeah! How else are you gonna make up your mind about all this cool stuff to buy? We try to keep the most common products we sell available because we we don't have unlimited room for one of every item in every color. LOL. But don't fret if we don't have exactly what you're looking for, a trip to our showroom and a conversation with our sales staff will leave you feeling very informed about whatever decision you're about to make.
As a small business working in a rapidly growing industry it's really the only way we can serve everyone properly. We are not a big-box sized retail store, nor do we want to be. You are more than welcome to browse our retail showroom floor by yourself, but if you would like to work with our sales team to discuss products and builds, we kindly ask that you book a visit using our online schedule or by giving us a call at 303-431-6611. We are low key and not a high pressure sales environment. We are here to help walk you through your particular build.
Our local sales tax rate is only 4.75% - nearly half of the rest of the Denver, CO Springs, and Boulder metro areas. And that is applied only on parts and we do not charge any sales tax on labor.
We allow certified service animals meeting the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act and other super friendly animals. Keep in mind we often have our own dogs around, so if your dog is unpredictable whatsoever, please leave them in the vehicle or ask us for assistance.
At our discretion we may decide to install parts that a customer has already purchased for themselves. When we order parts for your vehicle we have full control over the process with our vendors. It also makes future warranty with our shop possible since we sold the product. When we are not a part of the ordering or shipping process it makes things more difficult for us. We've been at this for years and have seen countless examples of incorrect or missing parts ordered for a vehicle and then we become stuck between the customer and whomever they order parts from. It can turn into a big hassle and we believe it is best to let us handle the entire thing. In the event we decide pursue a project using customer provided parts we will likely charge an additional fee to do so. You will need to speak with us directly to determine the best solution for your situation.
We do not. We find it's best to stay focused on what we're doing and let those that operate primarily in the maintenance world to do just that. Generally the only time we get into a maintenance related item is for a customer project that requires service or warranty.
The majority of the time we are able to find solutions to our customers goals with readily available products. This is easier, faster, and far less expensive compared to custom options.
However, occasionally products don't exist or a client wants to try something that hasn't been done before. If you feel you're one of these customers please give us a call or drop us a line with your details. We'll be happy to discuss your goals so we can decide if it's a suitable project for us or if possibly best for a local business or competitor we've established a businesses relationship with. Keep in mind that anything custom is generally at least double our normal rate, but if we can help, we will!
Please keep in mind that we do not have a dedicated space for customers to wait. Our showroom is the only place you could hangout while your work is being completed and we have customers in/out all day long. Our showroom is also not air conditioned and can get very hot in the summer. 99% of our customers decide to drop off their vehicle and we can even arrange an Uber or Lyft for you if you don't have anyone to pick you up.

Unfortunately the only time we can have a customer in our workshop is when we are quickly showing them something we are working on while they are also under the supervision of an employee. In general we cannot have customers in our workshop as a safety to you, your vehicle, and ourselves. We do not make exceptions to this rule.
In most cases the answer is YES, absolutely! While we will work hard to find a solution that works for you and can often figure out something even if you are not stoked, we also understand sometimes people change their mind. We do have some limitations on what can be returned and the timeline to do so. Please visit our Terms and Conditions Page for more information.
