Lead Technician will be responsible for installation of aftermarket 4x4 parts and accessories on customer vehicles. After being trained by Juniper Overland, technician will run their own installation bay and be expected to complete a variety of projects including camper installs, vehicle upgrades such as suspensions, bumpers, roof racks, wheels and tires, storage systems, power upgrades, and other vehicle outfitting projects. It is expected that an applicant for this position will provide most of the tools required to complete daily tasks.
Qualifications/Skills:
• Intermediate to advanced level of mechanical skills with a desire to learn more.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Communication with other technicians and management.
• Intermediate understanding of 12V and 110V electrical systems.
• Forklift certified is a plus – if not we will pay for your training and certification.
• Self-motivated.
Responsibilities:
• Work under the supervision of the Workshop Manager to perform day-to-day installations, maintenance, and repair on customer vehicles.
• Running your own install-bay and keeping your assigned projects on schedule.
• Test the functionality and safety of parts and systems once installed.
• Identify problems using diagnostic equipment and experience.
• Keep workspace clean and assist with daily workshop chore rotation.
• Willingness to learn with hands-on training.
Requirements:
• Competent in the installation of: 4x4 suspension upgrade, bumper, roof rack, or other similar vehicle equipment.
• Safely use and assist in the maintenance of shop equipment.
• Hold a valid driver license and have reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Above all, be a self-starter with a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Work Hours & Compensation
This is a fulltime position performed at our Denver location Monday – Friday. Workday starts at 8:30 am and ends approximately at 5 pm.
• Compensation is paid hourly with a starting range of $24-35+/hour based upon experience, with room to advance after a 90-day review.
