This new camper is designed to fit modern fuel-efficient trucks, offering a sturdy, insulated, and lightweight vertical pop-up shell that allows for personalized customization. Accommodating up to two people, the Atlas™ provides sufficient interior space for one person to stand comfortably while another occupies the bed. Additionally, it has the capability to carry up to 100 lbs. of cargo on its roof.
Distinguishing itself from conventional truck toppers and slide-in campers, the Atlas™ boasts an efficient and user-friendly design. With a straightforward setup, a single individual can effortlessly open the spacious and functional interior within a mere 60 seconds. The insulated composite roof provides an impressive 6' 10" of headroom, and unique to the market, each of the four tent walls features a window, offering an airy and connected outdoor experience.
Comprising lightweight aluminum and honeycomb composite materials, similar to the successful Habitat and Summit toppers, the Atlas™ ensures both insulation and structural integrity. This construction enables users to attach various gear using flush-threaded fasteners. The camper's stability is guaranteed even in adverse conditions such as high winds or heavy snow loads, thanks to robust gas springs. For security, the rear liftgate and top latches are equipped with locks to keep gear safe. To provide adequate light and weather protection, the Atlas™ features double-pane acrylic windows and skylights with retractable bug screens and thermal curtains. Additionally, it offers upward-opening weathertight locking cargo doors for easy external gear access.
Inside the Atlas™, the sleeping area consists of a 48" x 80" two-piece platform with a comfortable 2.5" thick mattress, equivalent to the size of a queen bed. When not in use, the platform can be conveniently stowed away, and when needed, it can be quickly deployed. With its clever design, there's enough room between the closed roof and the sleeping platform to keep bedding in place, making it incredibly convenient and hassle-free. The open standing area of 48" x 38" next to the sleeping platform allows another person to move around in the truck bed or access the platform without disturbing the sleeper.
Addressing various weather conditions, the Atlas™ features a durable FMVSS compliant canvas tent that offers breathability and waterproof capabilities. For colder climates, an optional FMVSS compliant Thinsulate™ liner is available, complete with matching window openings and an impressive R-value of 1.4, ensuring heat retention between 34º to 36º Fahrenheit.
