The Juniper Jamboree is the perfect getaway for those who love the outdoors and enjoy mingling with fellow enthusiasts in a stunning mountain setting. WE DO NOT PROFIT OFF OF THE JAMBOREE: All revenue from our event is used to make it an amazing experience for everyone involved. If there is any profit collected at the end of the event, we donate it all to helping keep Colorado trails open for generations to come.

FINE PRINT DETAILS

- Standard entry for one vehicle and one attendee. Includes access to all on-site activities, meals, and the good times at basecamp all weekend long. Weston Pass off-road tour requires separate registration and is included at no additional cost.
- A valid driver's license is required for participation in the driven vehicle trail runs. 
- A valid fishing license is required to fish at any lake, river, stream, or body of water in Colorado.
- We tend to have a LOT of pups & pets in attendance. We kindly ask if your furry friend isn't super friendly and good in crowded environments, that you find a sitter or leave them home.
- Tickets can be refunded up to 21 days before the event. Please cancel through Eventbrite or contact us if you need to cancel your ticket.
- The event will proceed rain or shine. Please come prepared for any weather conditions.
- By attending this event, you agree to release Juniper Overland/Adventure Vehicle Outfitters from any liability for personal injury, property damage, or other claims, including those related to food allergies. Attendees acknowledge that photographs and video recordings may be taken during the event, and grant Juniper Overland permission to use this media for any commercial purposes without further consent or compensation.

Mosquito to Weston Pass

TRAIL RUN

Join RCI Offroad for a guided drive across one of Colorado’s most iconic alpine routes. This scenic trail connects Weston and Mosquito Pass and offers a mix of moderate technical driving, big mountain views, and fresh mountain air. We’ll stop for lunch at the top, so bring your own food and a camp chair. Space is limited and we ask that only fully capable vehicles sign up.

Overlanding Preparedness Course

Led by Sierra Mechanica

This workshop covers the real-world basics of getting your rig and mindset dialed for remote travel. From trip planning and gear selection to route logistics and solo travel tips, you'll leave more confident in your ability to take on longer trips with less guesswork. Perfect for newer adventurers and seasoned travelers looking to sharpen their systems.

Recovery Course

Led by Sierra Mechanica

Go beyond the basics with this hands-on course focused on safe and effective vehicle recovery. You’ll cover common trail scenarios and walk through proper use of winches, recovery boards, soft shackles, and more. Whether you travel solo or in a group, this course is designed to help you recover quickly, safely, and without doing damage.

Chef Jesse is back for another year to share his favorite techniques and tips for cooking outdoors with flavor and ease. Start your morning with an easy going group mountain bike ride to get the blood moving and burn off those Friday night potluck calories. We will keep it relaxed and beginner friendly, with a focus on good vibes, safe pacing, and a simple, scenic spin to kick off the day.

Intro to Radio Communication
GME Radios

GME is bringing a hands on GMRS radio communications workshop built for real trail use, not theory. You will learn licensing basics, how to choose the right radio and antenna setup, and the key features that actually matter when you are coordinating a group on the move. Expect practical tips on clean installs, simple channel and privacy code setup, and how to use good radio etiquette so your convoy stays clear, calm, and connected.

Kids Nature Walk
At Outward Bound

Give the kids a fun, easy paced nature walk around the Outward Bound area, built for curiosity, fresh air, and a little adventure. We will keep it simple and age friendly, with time to spot plants and wildlife, ask questions, and learn a few basics about being respectful outdoors.

Take a walkaround tour of a minimally built overlanding and 4WD trail vehicle, focusing on what actually matters when you are trying to be capable, safe, and self sufficient. Sierra Mechanica will cover exterior and performance upgrades, communications and navigation basics, and the essential gear that supports planning, preparedness, emergencies, trail repairs, and recovery. You will leave with a clear checklist of practical priorities for your own rig, without the fluff or the endless upgrade rabbit hole.
