At its core, the MegaMat 10 boasts a 10 cm (4") thickness of precisely balanced, Oeko-Tex 100 certified open-cell polyurethane foam, offering both support and warmth. The foam incorporates horizontal air channels, effectively minimizing weight and packed size while preserving comfort. A brushed, stretch tricot polyester surface graces the mat, contributing to the cradling effect by alleviating pressure points, particularly around the hips and shoulders, and ensuring uniform support across all sections, from head to toe.

The MegaMat is designed to self-inflate. By opening the inflate valve, the foam expands and draws air into the mat. Additionally, an EXPED Mini Pump accompanies the product, facilitating adjustments to achieve the desired firmness level. The inflate and deflate valves, recognized as high flow-rate FlatValves, are sizeable and practical. The inflate valve incorporates a one-way flapper, enabling effortless air purging during the night or with a simple fingertip press if the mat feels excessively firm.
