Great Product for my Gen 3 Tacoma & Excellent Customer Service

I just got done installing this kit on my 2016 Tacoma and I must say that this kit made things so simple. To start, I had a lot of questions since there is definitely incorrect ways to set up a dual battery system but my research lead me towards redarc and Juniper Overland.

My experience with the team at Juniper Overland was 10/10. Before my purchase, I emailed a bunch of my questions and concerns and within a day I had a conversation going with Nathan, Dylan and Josh about my setup and how I should run things. Everyone I spoke to was eager to assist and genuinely excited to help me through the discovery process, since this was my first time installing a dual battery system. I was able to purchase in confidence a few days later and they kept me updated on order status along the way.

The instructions for installation were very thorough, with pictures and detailed descriptions that were helpful for some of the elements of the system. Walking you through, step by step on how to prepare your vehicle and want to expect while installing. The kit literally has everything needed to do the installation, with lengths and fitment working perfectly with my truck. My only hiccup was with one of the fuse blocks missing a nut to secure the cable but 10 cents and a quick trip to Home Depot made it a non-issue.

For my setup, I have two lead-acid battery (starter with high cranks and a deep cycle marine battery) and so far it been working great. Because the redarc can handle different types of batteries, I'm excited to have the option upgrade to AGM or lithium in the future if I wish to. You can see in the pictures that I also have an external sea blue fuse block with a breaker that is routed to the started battery (I plan on rerouting this to my aux battery as soon as I get the length of cable I need) and it easily tied into tho system with no issues. Overall, I am happy with this purchase and excited to start utilizing the system to run my diesel heater, camping electronics and aux lights from the secondary battery without compromising the starter battery. This will make my Alaska camping excursions so much more enjoyable without worrying about power draw from the battery and leaving my stranded in the wild.

The fact I can add solar to this is exciting as well and I plan on getting a portable kit I can tap into when posted up, camping under the midnight sun :) 🌞

Thanks Juniper Overland for all the help and making me a satisfied customer.
